Unable to Take Screenshot on iPhone After iOS Update- How to Fix
Apple has updated its iPhone OS to iOS 14 about a month back. Still there are many users who are not able to take screenshots after updating their iPhone. This might be due to bug in now iOS or some changes in settings of iPhone.
*Before trying the solutions below, you must check on the Apple website or your iPhone help directory if you are using the right combination of buttons to take screenshots. If there is really a problem with your iPhone, go ahead and try the solutions below.
- Solution 1: First we will consider that this may be due to problems with your buttons. Try cleaning your buttons and area near your buttons properly with soft cloth to get them working. Any protective film on your iPhone might be causing your button not to work. So you can try removing this protective film. Now check if buttons are working properly or not.
- Solution 2: If buttons on your iPhone are still not working you can try taking a screenshot without using buttons. To take screenshot without buttons you have to turn on "Assistive Touch" from Settings-> General-> Accessibility. Now a shortcut button is created on your screen. Now tap on this button, go to more and tap on Screenshot.
- Solution 3: Taking a screenshot without buttons is a tedious task so in order to enable your iPhone buttons to take a screenshot you must update your iOS to the latest version available. As if there is a problem in iOS 11.4 it will be resolved in the coming updates.
- Solution 4: Try contacting Apple customer care of your country or visit any nearby Apple store to get help and get your iPhone working fine.
